Michael, I really like this idea for reviewing linear concepts. Rather than using it in my “linear unit” I think I’ll use it before we start comparing and contrasting different families of functions. I’ll do a couple of the linear match my graphs and a couple of the quadratic ones. I’m betting it would work well for exponential too.
