I borrowed this idea to do a similar task while teaching writing exponential equations. My students all have chromebooks and enjoyed the instant feedback and welcomed the challenge as they became increasingly difficult.

Last year when running activities like this, it was about 50% smartphones. It’s better than nothing, but the tablet/laptop combination is significantly better.

What do your students have access to?
